Album containg portrait photographs of members of the Jacob Hoover family, pioeners to Washington County, Or. The portraits date from circa 1861-1871 and depict Jacob Hoover (1814-1886), his wife Malinda Cave Hoover, and two children, daughter Harriet Hoover Killin (b. 1848) and Wesley Hoover, Jacob's son with his first wife, Jeriah Cave Hoover. There is also one photo of the Hoover family's Chinese cook. Many of the other portraits are unidentified. Includes cartes de visite and tintypes.
